Neurofeedback Training – building the basis for Top Performances
Neurofeedback is a method to increase the efficiency of the human being. By certified trainers, supervised Neurofeedback Training is suitable for sportsmen, artisans/artists, and economic forces, which need to maintain or increase necessary high or top performance levels, even under situations with high stress levels. The effectiveness of Neurofeedback Training was proven for example in studies with musicians. Professor John Gruzelier (Goldsmiths College, London) achieved under controlled conditions with students of the Royal College of Music for instance up to two higher performance points. Neurofeedback and Biofeedback methods are also used in the so-called Mind Room of the European Top Premiere League Football Club AC Milan (Italy).
This Mind Room is part of “Milan Lab” that was developed by Jean-Pierre Meersseman as medical director of AC Milan, together with the fitness trainer Daniele Tognaccini and the sports psychologist Bruno Demichelis. The Milan Lab practices more intensely the core idea of sporting success on the basis of scientific analysis and scientific increase of performance parameters than most other departments of sports medicine. Neurofeedback plays an important role of the top ball athletes of the club.
Neurofeedback Training – mental power for Top Performances
Base of Neurofeedback Training is the knowledge that certain behavior patterns and states of mind always have the same or at least similar brainwave frequency patterns. This also is true for the mental state that humans want to achieve to improve to top performances. Neurofeedback Training can build on this knowledge and can make sure that humans reach this mental state faster and more often. It is characterized for example by:
. High creativity
. Ability of intense concentration and lightening fast decision-making
. Absence of fear of failures and benefits of reducing tension
. Temporary far stretched control of emotions
Neurofeedback Training can so create an important building block for a strategy of systematic performance improvement.
